Welcome Council Member Blake Ostler
On August 8, 2019 The Perry City Council selected Blake Ostler to fill the recently vacated council position. Council Member Ostler has lived in Perry City for 13 years and served on the Planning Commission from 2014 to 2018. He has worked in commercial banking for the last 15 years, including his current position of 8 years at Bank of Utah specializing in Municipal Finance.  Council Member Ostler has a MBA from Utah State University and Bachelors Degree in Finance from Brigham Young University.  We welcome Blake to the council and look forward to working with him through the remainder of 2019.

New Penalties on Late Utility Accounts

The City Council has approved a change regarding charges on late payments for utility billing.

  • Utility bills that are 30 days past due will now have a $10.00 late fee applied.
  • Utility bills that are 60 days past due will have a $20.00 late fee applied.
  • Utility bills that are 90 days past due will have a $30.00 late fee applied and will also be shut off.
In addition, if your water is shut off, there will be a $50.00 fee applied to get your water turned back on.
